How to become an Organ and Tissue Donor in Alberta:
Alberta has had an online organ donor registry for three years now with over 362,444 Albertans having registered their consent to donate as of May 8, 2017. Check your status or register your intent to donate online at: UltimateGiftAlberta.ca
BUT most importantly, be sure to share your wishes with your family. Please encourage others to talk about organ donation now before it’s needed so that families will be empowered with the knowledge to make informed decisions when the time comes.
